The Foundation meets semi-annually in the spring and fall to review and award competitive grants only to non-profit organizations serving the Greater Baton Rouge Region.

 

The Foundation only accepts grant applications submitted online and requires Interm and Final reporting to be submitted online as well.  The links to the grant application and Interim and Final reporting will be activated during the month prior to the respective filing deadlines.

 

Grant applicants should keep in mind that priority is given to projects that build on strengths and assets of individuals, organizations and institutions and address the underlying causes of the problems presented rather than treating symptoms.

 

The Foundation is interested in supporting organizations that reflect the diversity of the community they serve in their boards, staff and program focus.
