The Foundation's Trustees meets semi-annually in the spring and fall to review and award competitive grants to non-profit organizations serving the greater Baton Rouge region or in some cases state-wide initiatives.
The Foundation only accepts grant applications submitted online and requires Interim and Final reporting to be submitted online, as well. The link to the grant application will be activated during the month prior of the respective filing deadlines. The reporting links remain active.
Grant applicants should keep in mind that priority is given to projects that build on strengths and assets of individuals, organizations and institutions and address the underlying causes of the problems, rather than treating symptoms.
